volume 1

So I'm pretty sure no one reads my blog but I'm going to make an entry anyway.  I've finished recording my first studio album, and it's available currently through Bandcamp.  In 1-2 weeks from this post, it will be available on Audio CD as well as digitally through Spotify, iTunes and Amazon MP3.  The Bandcamp player is below.  Thanks, and I hope you enjoy it!

squelch

So this is a music project that I've been working on with my good friend Aaron for a long time now. I will be on drums and he will be on bass. The songs are originals that Aaron has been writing. We're looking for a 3rd member, possibly keys or guitar.

Winchester Ear Plugs

I've begun the process of digging through the 60GB of audio data from my old studio computer. I stumbled across this little gem. It is the product of much whiskey. Unfortunately, in my inebriated state, I set the gain on the snare mic way too high which resulted in many, many clips. I manually edited most of them out and tried to level out the recording a little bit so it's listenable. Enjoy.

freedom now

This is a song that I wrote recently. It's dedicated to the people of the Middle East, Japan and places all over the world where people suffer from adversity.

I'm Back

For real this time, I swear! Anyway, a lot has happened recently. I moved to Boston recently, and there has been a lot of driving and shuffling things around but I'm finally just about settled in. I've moved the whole studio out of CT and while I don't have everything with me here at the apartment, I still have decent access to it. I've been working on a lot of different things. Right now I am bouncing some footage that I took of Valley FEAST part 2 up in Northampton. I'm about halfway through it and will be posting it all up later tonight. My portable recording setup is almost where I want it to be. For now though, I'm just excited to be able to go places and make some decent recordings. I'll also be posting a few other things that I have been working on, hopefully this weekend. Stay tuned, and in the meantime, here's an older video that I neglected to post.

/r/musicmakers songwriting competition

This is a piece I wrote for a small songwriting competition on http://www.reddit.com/r/musicmakers. The only rule is that the chord progression Dm, C, G has to be used somewhere in the song.
